With the New Year looming around the corner, I wanted to take the opportunity to write about things I have learned at the Small Business Development Center throughout my three-plus years at the organization.
The first lesson is to keep an open mind and never judge a client by their looks, education or social standing. It is not my job as an adviser to determine whether an idea is a good one or a bad one, or whether that person is the right person to carry out these activities.
